I live at the beach in Southeast Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay. I planted these in what is little more than sand and was suprised how well they grew, considering the poor "soil" and very dry conditions. The Ox-Eye daises do great too, quite a show in the spring all along the seawall!

Absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful variety of color combinations! Plant it in the fall rain to get it going and it will bloom huge the next summer. Wonderful flower!

I used the roll-in method as described on the site: Get rid of all existing growth, mix seeds with sand and scatter, then roll in with a rolling water drum. (This last step is crucial - if you omit it, they will not grow!)

It wasn't long before I had a thriving stand of gorgeous wildflowers. This is the second year, and they came back like gangbusters.

You have to get out there early and remove competing weeds, but you don't have to remove all of them -- just the large aggressive ones. Other than that, there is no maintenance.

I do think they should remove the partridge pea from the mix, however, since it tends to be invasive, so for folks with non-wild flower beds, it can be a huge headache.

Planted wildflower seeds in December. It is now, end of May and they are still blooming. I have received so many compliments from strangers and neighbors on how beautiful they are. They also want to know where I order them. American Meadows. Awesome seeds.

Planted seeds 2 years ago along our pond embankment and in a wilflower bed near our patio with great success. Plants continue to reseed themselves to the delight of our grandchildren who enjoy watching the blossoms open as the late afternoon sun melds to twilight. Would make an excellent plant for patio containers as well.

I planted the ammi majus last year along with my wildflower seed. They were beautiful and showy along with the other flowers.I planted them this year and look forward to June when they will peak.

Germinates well and re-seeds itself. Low-maintenance. Works equally well in bunches by itself or mixed in with other wildflowers.

I was pleased w/ the performance of this wildflower mix. I used it a small rock garden area in my front yard & the flowers were just beautiful. Most have come back every year also. The mix of wildflowers are very easy to maintain & w/ stood the summer heat in direct sunlight all day.
