"Vanguard" is the large-flowered Dutch Crocus with two clear colors. While "Pickwick" is striped, this one is bolder and clearer--the outside petals are light lavender and the inside ones are rich purple. Bi-colors like this one double the effect of the flowers, and light up any garden or lawn. A planting of this one alone can be a real stunning display, or you can simply add these to your mixture to have more bicolors.
