Dear American Meadows.com:
These photos are a very small sampling of the results of the wildflower seeding last Fall (and the previous couple years).
My wife and I walk our hillside in Minnesota here and are daily amazed at the joy and beauty your work has given us. As with anything, patience and hard work paid off this year. The panorama changes in light, and the evolution of each blooming species brings a new experience.
Waiting for the 'perfect' photo this summer...I’ll print an enlarged version and send it to you as a thank you.
My best wishes for a safe Fourth of July!
Sincerely,
Tim Thompson Winona, Minnesota
Photo Notes:
The top photo shows a mixture of wildflowers and daylilies along a woodline the Thompsons have planted.
The second photo shows Mrs. Thompson picking from a patch of mostly wild Sweet William in several colors plus some other species.
The bottom photo shows another area where the Thompsons have seeded in Red Poppies in true red, plus the pinks and whites.
