For perennial gardens, the famous "Charter's Double Mix" of Old Fashioned
Hollyhocks is the big favorite. But just look at some of the newer hybrids!
You can plant the old-fashioned ones in individual colors, or plant the mix
and enjoy them all. These are the big, fully-double ones from Victorian days
that grow to 5' or 6' and have fluffy powder-puff blooms. We read that Charter's
Mix is a favorite of Martha Stewart, who grows them for big fall arrangements.
For "new age" gardeners, scroll directly down to magnificent bi-colored
"Creme de Cassis", "Nigra", and the amazing brand new "Queeny Purple." All our
plants are guaranteed to bloom this summer.
Looking for Single Hollyhocks? If you, like many gardeners, love the
even older single-flowered hollyhocks, we have the seed and they're very easy to
grow. Remember, hollyhocks from seed take two years to bloom.
