Photo Credit: Our photos of Desert Marigold are from the collection of The Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens, Univ. of Texas at El Paso, and used with the gracious permission of Dr. Arthur H. Harris, the photographer. If you've ever been to Arizona, New Mexico, or So. California in February or March, you know this golden beauty. Not well-known outside the desert regions, it's one of the ones that creates incredible color when the desert blooms. A neat plant with wonderful daisy-like flowers, it's an example of a wildflower that deserves a place in any garden.
