Wildflower Facts
Map of USDA Plant Hardiness Zones
21 Wildflowers, all native to the Midwest including Prairie Aster, Blazing Star, Butterfly Weed, and other treasured species.
With this mixture, you'll know you're planting some of the our most treasured prairie wildflowers. Unlike the northeast, the midwest was always a combination of woodland and open grassland, thus both annual and perennial wildflowers are native to the region. First year annual color with this mix features plains coreopsis, brilliant Indian Blanket, prairie aster, and annual black-eyed susan. Perennials and biennials include all the famous midwestern native beauties: Not only purple coneflower but pale coneflower as well, plus prairie blazing star, butterfly weed, lupine, standing cypress, no less than three Rudbeckias (Black-eyed Susan species) and many more.
This mixture contains 21 wildflowers, 4 annuals for first-year color, plus 17 perennials or biennials for second and successive years' bloom.
