SALE: 50% off All Native Woodland
Wildflowers and Ferns
The whole category of woodland wildflowers is reserved for home or property owners lucky enough to have a shaded, wooded area that approximates a native North American forest. Most of our precious woodland wildflowers bloom in spring, so fall is always recommended as the best time to plant them. That way, they become established for bloom next spring. They will arrive this fall in a dormant state, with few if any leaves, but the root systems are healthy and ready to grow for you. Many of these hard-to-find plants are quite small, so it's important to mark their locations as you plant. All our wildflowers and ferns are nursery propagated, never gathered from the wild.
