Description
Chesnok Red Hardneck Garlic has lovely purple streaks and full-bodied flavor, often keeping even after being cooked. Plant plenty for storage all summer long!

Once you've tasted garlic straight from the garden, you'll never use anything else. Delicious! And it's easy to grow--our package comes with detailed instructions for planting and harvesting.

Plant in early fall. Separate cloves from garlic bulb and plant pointed end up in a 4" deep hole. Space the cloves 6" apart in row, with 12" between rows. Pinch off any flowers that might develop as although they look nice they consume energy that should be going into the finished bulb size.
AFTERCARE: Store garlic bulbs by roping or hanging in netted bags in a cool, frost free dry spot for use throughout the winter.

Fresh or cooked this is a versatile healthy flavorful vegetable. Good keeper for use throughout the winter. Can also be chopped and frozen for later use.
