Itoh peony: the best of both peony worlds in one vigorous plant.

Itoh peonies (also known as Intersectional peonies) are an intentional mix of two amazing plants. Borrowing the hardiness of traditional garden peonies, Itohs present the upright growing style, deeply-cut foliage, and prolific blooms of beloved Tree peonies. Complementing their nicely tailored shape, Itohs produce enormous flowers from many buds, often 50 blooms per plant in a single season. We are proud to carry only naturally-bred Itoh peonies in bare root form, unlike the fussy tissue-grown varieties that are reproduced in laboratory settings.
