Our luxury Copper Pot Amaryllis Gift Kits were made just for us! Reflecting the old Dutch tradition in copper, each kit comes in a solid copper pot plus liner and potting soil. The jumbo bulb in this one is "Carmen", a deep cherry red with at least two stems of flowers. This one is a great quality gift, and everything is packed in the copper pot, with a full-color top label and simple instructions. So even if your gift recipient is an old hand at amaryllis, you'll know they've never received a kit with a solid copper pot quite like this one before.

Ever grown an amaryllis inside the house? It's a snap. There can be rain, cold or snow outside, but all you do is water this "magic lily", and it zooms into growth. In just a few days, the stems arise, and in a few weeks the enormous flowers begin to open--huge lily blooms up to 8" across! (Our kit contains a bulb that will produce at least two stems, each with 3 or 4 flowers!) Then you have the big show for over a month. It's just 6 to 10 weeks from first watering to full bloom.

This holiday season, I grew your "Carmen" Amaryllis in the really attractive copper pot. I've grown many of these before, but this kit (a gift) was particularly nice and easy to use. I simply potted and watered. First a stalk with 4 blooms rose and opened perfectly. Then a second stalk with 3 blooms replaced that, making the whole full bloom time almost three weeks--and right through Christmas and New Years. Really spectacular! THANKS for such quality bulbs!

this was given as a gift to a friend for Christmas and as my friend has never had an amaryllis before, it was truly enjoyed from start of planting time to end of blossoming. My friend was afraid she wouldn't be able to keep the bulb healthy, but she has nurtured the bulb by following the simple instructions and is looking forward to having another set of blossoms sometime in the next few months. My friend is so impressed and now says "it's really easy to care for these gorgeous creatures".
