Description
The St. Brigid Anemone mixture brings colorful, double-blooms to the late spring garden. Beautiful both in the garden and cut for spring arrangements.

'French' anemones can be planted fall or spring, and grow from small irregularly-shaped bulbs that look sort of like weathered wood chips. Put them into semi-shady spots, and they'll be up in no time. They quickly form short little plants, and then these spectacular 3 to 4-inch flowers on stems of about 10".

If you've never grown them, give them a try. Your success will depend on where you plant. Be sure it's never too hot, and never too dry. They need good drainage, but insist on a moist, somewhat shaded spot.

Comments about Anemone Bulbs St Brigid Mix, Anemone Bulbs St Brigid Mix:

I am very disappointed in these bulbs! I bought 4 bags of them (100 total bulbs) and only 3 plants came up. Out of those 3, none of them produced a flower or bloomed. I followed the instructions to a T - I live in zone 7, I soaked the bulbs for 2 hours before planting, I planted them the correct depth along a fence in my back yard where they would get a good amount of sun but also a little shade. I don't know what went wrong!

I tried to follow the planting instructions and they didn't bloom. I live in zone 5 and our winter was very bad; don't know if that was the problem or if they will still bloom in late spring, but nothing has come up at all.

Used it under my 100 something old Japanese maple tree. Adds beautiful color after the Grape Hyacinths and Mini Daffodils are gone. Can't wait to see how the Bleeding heart will come in.
