I love these crocuses because they have a bit more "presence" than the traditional, shorter ones. I use them in bed that transition my garden from somewhat manicured to a more natural, woodland setting.

In addition, my yard is unfenced and right next to a nature preserve full of deer but they completely ignore these, which is a HUGE plus in my eyes!

I planted these in my lawn, hoping they would come up, but expecting them to not bloom like all the other crocuses I have tried to naturalize. Not only did they bloom, they were big beautiful white blooms that were like beacons in my green lawn. American Meadow crocuses are the best I have ever bought.
