These are the ones called 'Snow Crocus' for obvious reasons. They bloom well before the Dutch Crocus, so for a long season of crocus bloom, plant them both. They work almost exactly the same. Unlike the Dutch crocus group of hybrids, these are true 'wild bulbs'--species crocus that grow in the wild in Greece and other areas. Add these jewel-toned beauties to your wildflower collection, and you'll enjoy them for years.

Beautiful product! I cannot wait to have a plethora of them next year, as I did not plant many last fall. These small crocuses I planted with a bigger crocus and they are so beautiful together. It flows like waves in my garden as a front border.

Can't wait to have even more next year!

About Me Avid Gardener
What a great way to liven up the flower beds up close to the house or along the walkway. I get so excited in the spring when the bulbs start to brighten up the boring winter flower beds. Cant wait till next year to have even more popping up around the shrubs!
from Borger, TX
I was incredibly disappointed with these bulbs. The flowers didn't end up looking nearly as vibrant and colorful as those in the picture. Mine were purple on the outside before they opened, but when they opened they were solid white with an orange pistil. They definitely didn't look like I expected them to look based upon the photo. The only good thing about them, in my opinion, is that most of them came up.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Sarowen, sorry you were not pleased with the color. As an avid gardener, you know that lots of variables come into play with flower color, such as amount of sunlight and water, soil conditions and more. We're sorry that these didn't meet your expectations. We guarantee all of our products and would love the opportunity to make you happy.

About Me Getting Started
I was lame last year and didn't get these in the ground until early November, and even then, I just kind of pulled the soil back and dropped them in. We have heavy clay soil, and I really didn't expect them to grow. I'd actually forgotten about them! Now it's spring and wee little purple blooms are appearing in the lawn, even under the tree in full shade! This was by far my easiest gardening experience. Next fall, I'll plant twice as many, and give a little more love to the planting process.
