I planted these flowers in a simple corner garden. They flourished and the flowers looked like white origami birds floating on the summer air. I can't say a bad word about them, Easy to grow and care for - they take very little work, just water, throw some fertilizer on the ground once and awhile and enjoy the show. Bees love them, and I have spotted a hummer or two showing interest in what these flowers offered.

If you are a Gardner at heart you will love these flowers.

Everyone loves these flowers. Since we are in a zone that does not allow them to come back year after year we need to replant them every spring. We are always looking forward in the fall for these flowers to bloom.

I think only about half my bulbs came up, but I was rather remiss about watering for a while and we had a cold late start to summer.
The ones that did bloom, however, made it all worth it! These were delicate and exotic looking, helping bridge the gap between the iris season and the hybrid gladioli. Elegant and sophisticated looking. If they don't come back next year, I'll probably make a habit of replanting these.

I grew these in a large pot on my porch and when I would sit out there and read, I was surrounded by the most heavenly fragrance! You don't have to stick your face into the blooms to smell them either; they're so fragrant, they permiate the air. Wonderful, and I would recommend them to anyone!
The only thing for me was I didn't know how to save the bulbs in the autumn. I tried vermiculite, sphagnum moss and dirt; nothing saved them. Anybody know??

I love these flowers! I spaced them all around the back area (because they are a little taller) of my gardens in the front and side of my house. They started growing really soon and bloomed in a few short weeks! They are absolutely beautiful and add a nice, clean touch against the house. The white shows up beautifully as does the deep color in the center! One of my best purchases!

No matter where I plant my acidantheras, they perform beautifully. They are not hardy in my area, but replanting every year is a small price to pay for their beauty and heady fragrance. They are beautiful in the garden--and make perfect cut flowers. It amazes me how many gardeners see them and don't know what they are: As far as I'm concerned, every garden should make room for these perfect flowers.

I planted these near the back of a bed. The greenery is tall and nice looking. When the flowers bloomed they were gorgeous and long-lasting. They required no care whatsoever beyond planting.

Terrific addition to the garden -- whether in the ground or a patio container. Lovely flowers held over green swords, mild but delightful fragrance. Like most glads, it's not really hardy here (Zone 7), but easy peasy to lift and store.

I ordered these last year as I was making additions to my current flower gardens. What an amazing addition to it. They fit perfectly as a liner for my steps leading to my porch. I have had several neighbors ask where I got them and how I got those colors. I have been very pleased with the level of customer service that I have received from American Meadows, I had an instance where one "more expensive" bulb that I purchased never came up. I offered to send it back or take a picture to send to them to prove that the bulb was indeed rotten. There were no questions, no need for me to send or picture it, they simply sent me a new one. You don't find many companies that don't make you "prove" that you indeed have an issue before they will send you a replacement. I will continue to make all of my purchases with American Meadows in the future.

Delivery was sent to me exactly as they state, which is amazing that they can track the orders that were placed months ago and get them to you without losing them!! Every plant arrived healthy except one which was replaced no questions asked. American Meadows is definitely a top notch company!!

This is the first time I have grown this item. I planted 3 batches in a part sun area. They bloomed, ALL of them (yes, I counted them) near the mid-end of my northern Wisconsin summer. They are LONG blooming, EXTREMELY fragrant and very exotic looking. When I pulled them up for winter storage, I even have dozens of new babies for next year! What a pleasant surprise! DO NOT HESITATE to try these as I think you will be very pleasantly surprised and pleased.

Grew them for the first time last year in a pot in my patio just to see what they would do. They grew and bloomed. It took me a few days to figure out where the fabulous perfume was coming from whenever I walked into my patio -- I had planted only a few. I will plant a lot more this year. I am absolutely hooked. LOVE THEM
