Comments about American Meadows Deer Resistant Collection - Collection of 35:

I'm disappointed that I took the time to plant so many of these bulbs in my front yard's bed. They were not the show stopper I was expecting. I saw a couple of irises actually bloom, but they were too short to be seen unless I stood directly over the pinestraw-covered bed (my fault for not realizing they were so short). The daffodils bloomed a little but had a pale peach color (not pink) and were not as vibrant and pretty as I expected. I've seen no sign of the anemones or the tulips, which is surprising since spring came early and it's been so warm here in SC. I know spring is technically only half way over so maybe they will come up still--who knows.

As an FYI, I have naturally sandy soil but I mixed in mushroom compost to give the bulbs more nutrients. I also am sure I followed the light and planting requirements.
