To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold-hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.
Plant the Daffodil and Tulip bulbs in the fall according to the instructions on their packaging. Mix in the roots of the Daylilies so when the bulbs are finished blooming in the spring, the perennial Daylilies will start to grow and cover up the dying foliage. The Classic Collection will cover 12-14 sq. ft.
