i planted these in the fall. only half of them came up and then died quickly. i live in alabama so its already 83 degrees which is unusual for march.

I love these adorable little flowers. They add so much interest to my North facing bed. They are quite short, so make sure to put them in the front where their checkered bell flowers can be properly admired. Also bears mentioning that when these beauties are first popping up, the foliage looks very much like invading blades of crabgrass. I pulled up two of them before I figured that one out.
