I fell in love with this plant. Each bloom lasts for a day or so but if you plant in large clusters there is always a striking blaze of color. My neighbors ask about this one all of the time.

Summer Blooming. Just feed at the end of spring and end of summer with a good organic bulb fertilizer and water well in the heat of summer. People who walk by often comment on their beauty and ask me what they are. Enjoy!!

Once planted you just water and wait. They will pop up and grow to about 24" tall or a bit higher and then start blooming. Sadly they would only bloom one or two a day so I never got the full effect, but they are nice to have right by the door so when you go out in the morning they are there to greet you with the speckeled centers and unique appearance. Keep them watered and they will come back.
