Flower Bulbs

Gardening at its most simple and elegant.

Your Success GuaranteedWe get a lot of questions about flower bulbs, but most involve when to plant them. Quite simply, "fall" flower bulbs are planted in the fall, grow roots into winter, then sprout and bloom in the spring. These include favorites such as tulips, daffodils, hyacinth and others. "Spring" flower bulbs are also known as tender bulbs (they don't survive cold ground temperatures); they're planted in the spring and flower throughout the summer. They include dahlias, glads, cannas, calla lilies and others. You can view these products by their planting seasons — Fall Planted Bulbs or Spring Planted Bulbs — or simply use the filters on the left to help you choose.

  1. Calla Lily Bulbs Tequila Sunrise Mix

Deer resistant and extremely easy to grow, the Tequila Sunrise Mix adds elegant, bright color in the summer garden. Blooming in reds, oranges, and yellows, this mixture makes a bold statement both in the garden and cut for summer bouquets. Calla Lilies prefer average to well draining soil and can be planted in containers, border gardens, or among other plants in the garden bed. They are a garden favorite for their show-stopping blooms that are often used in floral arrangements. Plant the tubers in spring for long-lasting blooms that will attract hummingbirds and butterflies to your property.

  2. Oriental Lily Bulbs Magny Course

A must-have for any Lily enthusiast, Magny Course’s unique blooms are deep pink with pure white borders. Like most Oriental Lilies, Magny Course is wonderfully fragrant and makes for amazing bouquets. A smaller variety, growing to be about 16” tall, we recommend planting this summer beauty in a border, small space, or even a container garden. The gorgeous blooms attract pollinators and are dependable, coming back year after year. Magny Course is also deer resistant, which is a great bonus for most gardeners.
