Comments about American Meadows Texas Bluebonnet Seed Packet:

I was very disappointed in the look of the packages. They were intended as giveaways in a Texas gift package, yet the color and the picture do not truly depict Texas bluebonnets. I would have paid more elsewhere to get a better product.

Comments about American Meadows Texas Bluebonnet Seed Packet:

We are using the seed packets are tabled identifiers and seating cards at our wedding, which is being held at Rutgers Gardens in New Jersey. We wanted everyone to be able to plant the seeds and remember us when the flowers bloom. The pictures are exactly as they appear on the site. Very happy with our purchase! I'm planging the Blue bonnets at my home in NJ to remind me of my daughter in Texas.

                  USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

                  • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
                  • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
