I used these as one of the favors for my son's bar mitzvah. His interest is in saving the environment and wildlife, so these fit in perfectly. They were appreciated by our guests, but his party was in November, so I don't know how many people actually saved them til spring to plant. They were a nice, small size for favors, but if you really wanted to put in a full wildflower meadow you'd need more than one pack

We gave out these packets as wedding favors, and many of our guests (in the upper Midwest, the mid-Atlantic coast, and Arizona) were able to grow these flowers. Not only is it a wonderful memory of our wedding, but the flowers attracted both butterflies and bees! This weekend is our first year anniversary, and we're eagerly looking to see if any of the flowers wintered over -- and if not, we kept a few packets to try again.
