Comments about American Meadows Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden Jumbo Packet:

I bought the Jumbo Butterfly Garden pack with thousands of seeds and I had one Rose Mallow come up and a few clover and one other plant. There was supposed to be 16 different plants, but at most maybe 4 sprouted and of those 4 variety like I said, very few if any plants.
          A dud.

Comments about American Meadows Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden Jumbo Packet:

Used to increase the flowers in an area that had been a cattle pasture. Made a greate wildflower area with a good mixuture of annuals to bloom the first year and perennials to bloom the second and following years. Proved to be very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

I love seeing butterflies in our garden! Some days it appears there are 'leaves' all over our driveway but, as you approach, the 'leaves' all get up and fly away!!! Butterfly gardens are so rewarding, everyone should try it!

Comments about American Meadows Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden Jumbo Packet:

Perfect use to camouflage areas in a yard that are riddled with weeds. First year were annuals, second year perennials bloomed. Most notable repeating flowers are the Purple Lupine. Added daisy seeds to this mix so that the daisies and Purple Lupine bloom together. A wonderful habitat for butterflies, bees, hummingbird moths and spiders.

                Plant with These

                USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

                • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
                • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
