It's time to show off your garden filled with American Meadows products!
The seed collection includes one package each of five special treats for Kitty -- Catnip, of course, but also Oats, Rye Grass, Lettuce and Wheat. We've included 5 pots because it's best to give each type of plant its own pot, rather than planting them all in one big container -- that way you can give each one just the right amount of water, etc. The pots and saucers are made from rice hulls and other renewable grain fibers. Sturdy and long lasting, the pots are about 3-1/2" diameter and fit nicely on a sunny windowsill. And to give your cat an immediate treat, we've included two cat toys made in Maine using their own organically grown catnip. Once the windowsill plants have reached a few inches tall, you can start harvesting. Catnip is irresistible to cats; give them a few freshly harvested leaves to enjoy. Many cats enjoy nibbling on Oat, Rye Grass, Lettuce and Wheat plants; occasionally place the pots near their food dish and let them graze.

Comments about American Meadows Kitty Cat Garden Kit:
I bought this for my mother, who recently lost her 18 year old cat, and she loved it. After all was said and done, her other cats are in Kitty Heaven.
To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.
