Comments about American Meadows Organic Dwarf Sunflower Seeds Yellow Spray:
I planted the five sunflower seeds that came in the packet as directed. While my cone flowers also did poorly in this location, my Marigolds did great. The sunflowers and coneflowers were new seeds I purchased this year, where as the Marigolds were volunteers from last years seed drop. I was very disappointed the sunflowers never even sprouted. I would not buy this small packet again.
To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.
