How To Use

Before you use:

  • Ready-to-use. Do not dilute.
  • Do not use if temperatures are expect to be over 85° F.
  • Spray in early morning or evening when it is cooler. Do not apply in mid-day sunlight as temporary leaf burn may occur.
  • Some plants with tender tissue and/or tender new growth may be sensitive to botanical oils. IF not sure test spray a few leaves 1 day be spraying entire plant. Do not use on plant if leaf burn or spotting is observed.
  • Avoid spraying new tender flower blooms.
  • How to use:

    • Turn nozzle to ON 'Spray,' - NOT ON 'Stream' position before using.
    • Hold container upright while spraying. Hold sprayer 12 inches from surface being treated.
    • Spray thoroughly to wet upper and lower leaf surfaces, stems and branches. Avoid excessive runoff.
    • Apply when conditions favor disease development or at first sign of disease infestation.
    • Repeat treatment every 7 to 10 days, following rain or as needed to control diseases. Continue on a 7 to 10 day schedule until the potential for disease development is no longer present.

USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

  • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
  • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
