Description
Everybody loves Hollyhocks--tall beauties that create tremendous color wherever they grow. They quickly create spires of flowers up to 5 feet.

These old-fashioned plants are famous for being biennial which means they bloom their second year from seed. But ours are already in their second season, so they're guaranteed to bloom this coming summer.

Hollyhocks are great for the back of the border, and also as a blooming screen for unsightly views or other things you'd like to hide with beautiful flowers all summer long.

        I got these last year so they havent bloomed yet! I can wait to see the blooms this summer! The foilage on these plants are huge! Bigger than my hand! So they do need a good amount of growing space. Everything I bought from american meadows grew! I did not have one dud! Instructions are easy to follow!

              I am sorry that I can't be more positive. I assume it is due to our hard winter . . but only 3 of the 8 hollyhocks have pokes their heads up this year.

                  I planted 2 bags of 8 in full sun outside of my veggie garden and got real excited when the leaves popped out of the ground... but that was it. Never flowered.
