Description
Pampas Grass is the world-famous plant that creates a monumental specimen clump, 8 ft. tall or taller, wherever it grows. In either pink or white, any planting of this grass creates a very dramatic effect. The huge plumes are often dried and used in large vases for interior decorating.

The name Pampas comes from the region of South America (Argentina) which is a huge area of rangeland called The Pampas. It is a major region for the raising of Argentina's famous beef cattle.

Not Recommended for California: The California Native Plant Society warns about the invasive qualities of another species of pampas grass in regions along the California coast and on nearby Pacific islands. This species, Cortederia selloana is not as invasive as other varieties, C. jubata, but still considered a risk for those areas.

Comments about American Meadows Pampas Grass White Feather - Plant:

Came in poor quality and barely grew all summer. I watered it and took proper care of it. When spring came this year nothing was there. American Meadows is replacing it....Heres hoping this one does better and comes in better shape...The first one came like it was the last plant in the warehouse and
    was on its last leg.....

Comments about American Meadows Pampas Grass White Feather - Plant:

I ordered 3 of these plants. 1 Arrived DEAD. The size of the plants received was laughable at best and greatly disappointing and despite my experiance nd the help and knowledge of a local nursery, a second of the 3 has also died within 3 days.

Comments about American Meadows Pampas Grass White Feather - Plant:

I thought the plant I received was way too small. Although we had a prolonged heatwave this summer, despite watering, it never survived long enough to grow.
