"Amazing packaging! Arrived in perfect condition. Planted them in large raised planters that lank the patio. Vivid blue flowers (prolific) contrast with iridescent green leaf spikes. Had these in Atlanta as walkway plants and always had compliments on them. They were perennials there, but will need to be replanted here in the mountain west (Utah) climate. No/low maintenance plant!"

Wonderful perennials for moist, shaded spots.
Spiderworts are hybridized from a wildflower with the wild form of this unique three-petaled flower usually purple. The foliage is lily-like, forming a clump of glossy green. They naturally grow along streams, so give them plenty of water and some shade. The botanical name tells you the history of this perennial plant. It's called Tradescantia after John Tradescant, a famous English plant explorer who visited North America during the colonial period and "discovered" this native perennial flower.
Spiderwort Morning Grace boasts extended blooms and adds graceful color to the late season garden, blooming mid summer through frost. It is low-growing and delicate, making it the perfect candidate for the front of the garden. Light purple blooms attract pollinators to the garden and make for elegant summer bouquets. A dependable perennial, this Spiderwort returns to the garden each year and requires little care once established. Blooms usually open during the day with sunlight and close in the evening hours. This groundcover is deer resistant and prefers as much sun as possible. More Details
