Description
Not all roses are red, and not all violets are blue. This butter yellow beauty is easy to grow in the same conditions you enjoy your wild blue violets. Unlike the blue and white violets, this one is stemmed. In other words, it forms a short plant rather than just a rosette of leaves and flowers flat on the ground.

Wild yellow violets are a must-have for any woodland garden. Most people have never seen them, and once happy, they're there every spring, and spread rapidly.

Followed planting directions to the letter - was a bit nervous since stock didn't look very good on arrival. Total waste of time and money.

I am adding to my previous review on these bareroot plants.
Within just a few days after planting new, sturdy leaves were sent up. And more have been added. I am very pleased with these plants. I believe by next spring I will have yellow violets blooming in my yard! Darlene

I like very much wild violets, and was pleased to find this yellow at American Meadows. It was on clearance, but the plants came with bare roots and signs of life above them. That is the best I expected. Now it is up to me to help them grow.

I planted these last fall and they came up, but have not grown much or bloomed. I will try moving them to a different location and see if the will thrive in a shadier location.
