"I have been growing this gem in my rock garden for quite a few years now. My favorite part is in the fall when all the seeds come on. They do look like large blackberries! Beautiful!"

Woodland wildflowers are ideal for home or property owners lucky enough to have a shaded, wooded area that approximates a native North American forest. Most of our precious woodland wildflowers bloom in spring, so if you plant favorites like trilliums in spring, your objective is to get them established and not expect full blooms for a year. Many of these plants are somewhat hard to find, and we're delighted to bring many of them to you.
Jack in the Pulpit boasts unusual, hooded green blooms with an upright spadix, known as the “Jack,” inside each bloom. The blooms evolve to produce brilliantly-red berries. A truly stunning, unique plant for the shade garden. (Ariseama triphyllum) More Details
Virginia Bluebell’s gorgeous flowers start out as lovely, pastel pink buds and open up into vivid, true blue blooms. This native plant increases in size each year with almost no care. (Mertensia virginica) More Details
