Parsley is one of the herbs that is really beautiful in the garden with its deep green frilly foliage. And it's good for more than just garnish. For example, great fish recipe sauces using parsley in a big way are in most every cookbook.
When and Where to Plant: Soak seeds for 24 hours then plant
in sunny location as soon as soil can be worked. Cultivate soil
and enrich with vegetable food. Firm soil over seed. In the fall set
young plants in pots and grow on window sill indoors.
Care: Keep soil moist, clean and feed every 6 weeks.
Harvesting: For best flavor, pick early in the morning. Flavoring
improves with successive cuttings.
