Onion Sets
The easiest way to grow these kitchen essentials
Onion sets are small onion bulbs, usually about an inch in diameter or smaller. Although you can grow onions from seed (usually by starting them indoors in late winter), growing them from sets is easier and produces a harvest in much less time. Plant the sets in early spring to produce green (salad) onions or allow them to mature to produce big onion bulbs. Looking for Onion Seeds?
