"Green Arrow: Shell Peas" are the main crop garden pea known for large doubly born pods with 8-11 peas each. Peas stay sweet for a long harvest window on 24-28"; plants. Great for freezing!
When and Where to Plant: Hardy Annual. Direct seed as soon as soil can be worked. Soil temperatures between 50-70°F are optimal for germination. A trellis is needed for support and ease of harvest. Plant a double row with rows 6-8” apart and trellis in the middle. Harvest continuously for increased yields.
