          why plant bee balm seeds

Fragrant, colorful natives attract pollinators into late summer

          why plant Bee Balm Seeds?

Bee Balm (aka Bergamot) are aromatic, native wildflowers with showy, lasting blooms. Colorful flowerheads develop atop thick foliage and attract many pollinators – including hummingbirds and the elusive (but fascinating) hummingbird moth. Bee Balm blooms later in the season, providing color and supplying nectar well into the fall. This wildflower prefers dry to medium-dry soils, so create raised mounds if you’re trying to plant in wet areas. Excellent cut flower.
