Comments about American Meadows Arroyo Lupine Seeds - 1/4 LB:

I have a large area in which California Poppies grow every year. I wanted to include lupins in this area as well so I purchased a large amount of seed which I scattered everywhere. They only came up in my prepared vegetable garden beds! They were great there, but most of the seed did not germinate in areas which are fine for poppies.
However, I am glad to have a native lupin which will grow, which is often difficult.

Comments about American Meadows Arroyo Lupine Seeds - 1/4 LB:

I planted Arroyo lupines in 2008. They bloomed the first year and reseeded generously in 2009. I had tried lupines before without success but these did extremely well in the Arizona desert.

Comments about American Meadows Arroyo Lupine Seeds - 1/4 LB:

I spread copious amounts of this seed over a sunny hillside, with plenty of water. Lots of greenery and very little bloom. Very disappointing as the wild lupines are going crazy all over the county and these are...not.
