Description
5 popular hybrid varieties of annual Cosmos bipinnatus:
Cosmos "Dazzler"
, the true red cosmos, striking golden centers
Cosmos "Gloria", big pink blooms with true red around the golden centers
Cosmos "Pinkie", the classic big pink cosmos, golden centers
Cosmos "Purity", pure white with glowing yellow centers
Cosmos "Radiance", big deep pink to wine red flowers, flamed darker at the centers

No flower is easier to grow from seed, and no flower lights up mid-summer and fall like cosmos. In fact, when all your other flowers are fading, your cosmos just keep on blooming, right up until frost. It means non-stop color in the garden, and non-stop flowers for cutting.

This new mixture gives you a never-before possibility of planting a patch or a whole acre of cosmos color that won't grow over 5 feet tall. And what colors you'll have! Everything from pure white to pure pink to pure red, plus the popular new bi-colors in between. Plant this mix, and stand back for a huge blaze of bloom!

Comments about American Meadows Cosmos Seed Mix:

Cosmos are easy to grow and make a great filler. I have horrible clay soil and have a large area tilled up along a fence where I just toss out seed every spring and let it go. I do literally nothing else. The cosmos is just beginning to bloom in August (I'm not sure if that's normal, could be my bad soil), but the good thing about it is that the foliage is really pretty and fern like, so even when it's not in bloom, the green stalks are there waving in the breeze. I have it planted with Zinnias, mixed cornflower, larkspur and hollyhocks and it compliments these plants well.

Comments about American Meadows Cosmos Seed Mix:

I used the flowers in a raised bed. They grow very tall 7ft.Many, many flowers. Vivid colors and a definite eye catcher. Very impressive to all that have seen them. I didn,t plant them until June and I have full blooming going into November and this is Cleveland Ohio. Came in the MIDWEST Wild Flower fall seed package. These definitely dominate.

Comments about American Meadows Cosmos Seed Mix:

Very easy to grow...I sprinkled them on the ground, covered them with 1/8" of soil, watered occassionally, and the seedlings started to sprout within 7-10 days. They are now 4 feet tall and the summer has been extremely hot with 54 days of no rain...very hardy! My only complaint is that the colors were all pink (in varying shades) and there is no white or red included in the mix. They are beautiful, however, and I'm still glad I planted them.

Comments about American Meadows Cosmos Seed Mix:

I was introduced to Cosmos when I first ordered from American Meadows. I was very naive, timid, & not sure what I was doing. But I was so happy because Cosmos are beautiful, tall, & very easy to grow. The more you cut them, the more they grow. They also last in a vase of water (with charcoal) for over a week. This is the one if you're new & the one if you want easy.
