Because I just bought and scattered these seeds this past Fall, I can't really give a review on performance as of yet. However, there are a multitude of seedlings coming up which I trust will be beautiful blooms in a few more weeks. What I can tell you is that I have used American Meadows seeds in the past and enjoyed beautiful color. I have used the drought tolerant mix, the Southeast mix and the wildlife habitat mix. Because I am growing wildflowers in a neighborhood and can't have my yard looking unkempt after the flowers have died back, I have sometimes had to mow/weedeat the flowers before the proper time. By doing this, I have sacrificed some seed that should have been dropped in the fall, and would have given me more color (from the annuals) the next Spring. So, in addition to the perennials which come back, I have supplemented with annual seeds (but not every year) to assure a nice round of color and enjoyment for ourselves and our neighbors.

Wonderful seed. We were moving out of state and put wildflower seed and zinnia down before we left. I made sure to rake the area and tamp the seed in. We weren't there to take care of it, but an automated watering system helped create an amazing effect. The beautiful result of masses of flowers is what sold our house after only a few showings! Thank you!!!!

Comments about American Meadows Low Grow Wildflower Seed Mix:

We bought this mixture last August in a desperate attempt to grow color quickly in our meadow after a particulary hot and dry summer. We own an event facility so it is important to our guests to have blooming flowers for photo opportunities.
The flowers started to bloom right before the frost, but mostly just a stand of baby's breath. However, in mid april of this year--we were so surprised to see a beautiful array of flowers in mostly red clover, bachelor's buttons and baby's breath with a few yellow poppies. I think it was the earliest we have ever had wildflowers in bloom. We are going to plant this mix again in early August this year and see what happens!

Seeds took off very well. I ordered the low grow specifically for a certain spot. I have many, looks like suflowers growing. Have not bloomed yet, but some are over 4 feet tall. Unexpected and now I am trying to transplant. The rest was fine.

I was pleased w/ the performance of this wildflower mix. I used it a small rock garden area in my front yard & the flowers were just beautiful. Most have come back every year also. The mix of wildflowers are very easy to maintain & w/ stood the summer heat in direct sunlight all day.

I've been buying American Meadows' seed for over 3 years now. I've tried other, less expensive Wildflower seed, without much success. American Meadows has the best. It's fresh, easy, & brightens your day when you see the flowers blooming all over the place. I'm a busy teacher & have little time to fool around in the garden. I like quick & simple gardening projects. Just throw the seed down or put it where you want flowers, water, & watch them grow.
