Comments about American Meadows Lacy Phacelia Seeds:

This was lightly scattered on a CRP-42 plot. Excellent outcome for honeybee production. QUESTION: Will this reseed itself in Northern Illinois?

Comments about American Meadows Lacy Phacelia Seeds:

I feel bad for those that didn't see their seeds germinate, but I think every single seed of mine came up in less than 2 weeks! I wasn't expected such success! I have them planted amongst roses and citrus for the pollination and beneficial bugs, plus they're attractive plants! Very happy. I will plant them again next fall. :)

Comments about American Meadows Lacy Phacelia Seeds:

I got this as part of a mix, and it is one of the highlights of my wildflower bed! It's gorgeous, tall, and the lacy purple flowers unfold in gorgeous fiddleheads. The honey bees, bumble bees, and hummingbirds ADORE them, and will visit the flowers while I'm standing there admiring them!

Comments about American Meadows Lacy Phacelia Seeds:

I live near Seattle. I started indoors In March and planted outside in a mixed flower bed in my vegetable garden in April. It was a cool wet spring and the sat there. As soon as the weather warmed they took off. They are beautiful and the pollinators love them especially the bumble bees which pollinate tomatoes! I will collect the seeds and grow a much larger number next year.

              Q & A

              Plant With These:

              USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

              • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
              • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).

              Find Your Planting Zone:
