I'm not sure about this product

"Fortunately I sowed this into a test plot before going bigger. On a freshly solarized plot I got rapid germination and dense growth. I got a late start in the season so only a couple of species have bloomed so far. The downside was that maybe 5 or 10% of what came up was Eastern Black Nightshade, which we haven't had on the property before, so I can only assume that it's in the mix. I've been able to go through the plot and pull all of this- I'm sure more will grow/become visible. The plot looks a bit trampled for now. If I'd sown 1000sq ft instead of 50, I'd be in some trouble. I know nightshade is tough to get rid of- I might have to re-sterilize the plot and start over next year."

These are really nice for filling areas that need that extra

"Mixing sand with seed to visually see the coverage."

Mix Includes NON-NATIVE Seeds

"I bought a bag of "Native Midwest Wildflower Seed Mix" from American Meadows. Out of curiosity, I sifted through a couple handfuls of seed just to see what I would recognize. I came across 10-15 mystery seeds that I set aside. I started them in a small bed just to see what they were. They are Chinese forget-me-nots. Why would these be included? This literally goes against everything that this product claims to be."

Would definitely buy again and again!

"Created two wildflower gardens in my backyard, and I love them. Attracted many invertebrates, just as hoped. #sweepstakes"

Seeds for a pollinator garden

"These flowers make me happy! Used a raised garden bed. Watered and waited. That's it! Shared some mix with my Minnesota daughter."

Gus (5/5)

Native Midwest Wildflower Mix provides a scenic border

"Provides a nice border between my yard and the farm field behind my house. Easy to plant, just sprinkle the seeds on a cleared patch of ground, then step on them to press them into the soil and they will come up after a rain. The flowers go to seed in the Fall and the seeds provide new flowers/plants the next Spring. The bees, butterflies, and other pollinators love them and they provide a nice colorful border to look at while mowing or doing yardwork."

Major (5/5)

So far so good

"I am using the native mix as a border around my fire pit area. The annuals are blooming and doing well. I can't wait to see how it looks when the perennials take off next year. If all goes well, I plan to expand the border and add to other areas next year."

Growing like crazy!

"This worked great! I followed the instructions and it worked like a charm!"

Greensquatch (5/5)

I would buy this product again!

"I use this as a border and it is absolutely beautiful. The contrast of color to the vegetable garden is wonderful. I'm seeing mostly coreopsis, but other plants are growing which have yet to bloom."
