How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
Also called "Toadflax", this spectacularly beautiful little flower has none of the bad habits of its famous pest relative, "Butter & Eggs", the yellow/orange perennial weed that is common in the U.S. In fact, Baby Snapdragon is one of the best annuals available for adding delightful jewel-like color to seeded meadows. Bright pink, red, yellow, and purple bi-colored blooms along upright stems make a meadow shimmer with color. Always a favorite with children.

"Very cute but i over crowded them"
"These were so pretty. They lasted forever, too. I mixed them in with the wildflower mix I purchased from American Meadows. I wish I had sown them in an area all to themselves because they were so pretty but they got a little lost in the big mix."
"These are adorable plants. Don't be fooled when they come up at first because they look like weeds. But they are sweet little plants that bloom much longer than I expected. The are so pretty planted in large groups, and they work well here and there in a rock garden or cottage garden. Mine came up between pavers too, and because my cottage garden is always sort of wild, it looked really cute. I plant them in the fall in my climate, zone 8b, and they come up in very early spring and bloom for several months. Also I have planted them in my mini meadow and they are very pretty. They don't like really hot weather but in early spring they are cheerful and the first flowers to bloom in my gardens. I've even planted them in pots, and although the foliage is feathery and wispy, they do quite well. They last a while in the vase and make adorable bouquets reminding me of tiny sweet peas because of the airiness of the bouquet. The many colors are lovely altogether. They have a tiny spur on them that reminds me of columbine, but they are much smaller. I can't imagine my garden without them now in early spring. They look like fairy flowers! Small pollinators love them too, and I've seen hummingbirds and butterflies hovering around them."
"6 weeks of blooms! I rolled lightly in March, broadcast them. In March and rolled them. Absolutely amazing!"
"Our family's new favorite annual. Love it! Delicate, abundant, colorful, GLORIOUS."
"I'm a bit baffled at the comments that listed the fact they're small as a con. . . they're BABY snapdragons. . . and they're beautiful. I had a really high germination rate. Big ol' pot full of them. (Either more came up than I thought or I clearly was not paying attention when I sprinkled them in, ha!)"
"The seeds are so easy to plant and care for! I get endless compliments!"
"This is a dainty flower, and I am always surprised by the vivid colors. I put them behind Johny Jump ups, and in front of blue Larkspurs. Beautiful!"
"These sweet little things were the first to bloom and I still have late bloomers all the way into October. They seem to grow anywhere and I have intentionally planted many where the gravel meets the dirt. I like the mixed colors. I discovered them in the DRY AREA WILDFLOWER MIX and had to order them individually."
"Even though I planted these a month late - which is usually the kiss of death in Houston - I had fantastic yield of long lasting, beautiful flowers. My husband is even thrilled. We are already talking Bout what we will plant this coming fall."
