With our gardens full of vegetables and our wildflower meadows in full bloom, it’s hard to believe that September is right around the corner! The temperatures will begin to cool and before we know it it’s time for fall planting.
Planting in the fall can prove quite successful and provide a number of benefits. Sure we’re all familiar with planting our favorite fall planted bulbs such as tulips and daffodils, but fall is also a great time to add perennials or even sow some wildflower seed.
In the coming weeks I’ll be reviewing all aspects of fall planting with blog features on fall bulbs, perennials and of course my favorite, wildflower seed. But before I get too far ahead of myself I wanted to highlight more of the great pictures we’ve received as entries in this year’s photo contest.

Keep the pictures coming! You’ve only got a few more weeks left to enter this year’s photo contest with a chance to win a $250 gift card.
Did you know you can now get your fall wildflower questions answered instantly by me, The Seed Man. Use our "Live Chat" feature now found on all wildflower seed pages as I’ll be answering questions live throughout the fall season. I’ve got over 20 years experience working with wildflower enthusiasts across country creating successful plantings and getting to the root of their problems.
Until next week Happy Gardening from your friends at American Meadows
