Brunnera
Attractive and durable groundcover for moist, shady spots
Brunnera (common name Siberian bugloss) makes an excellent ground cover in moist, shady spots by forming an attractive mound of rough-textured, heart-shaped leaves. In spring, clusters of small, light blue flowers appear, perched on airy, branched stems held high above the foliage. Ideal for woodland gardens and alongside streams and ponds — plant brunnera anywhere the soil remains consistently moist.
