Are your products guaranteed?
Absolutely.
We are gardeners, too, and we know that nothing is more disappointing than products that do not grow. There is no way to get that season back; we understand the frustration.
We take our invitation into your garden very seriously and hope that you will turn to us for years to come for your gardening needs. That is why we guarantee everything we sell. If any American Meadows product fails to grow, just let us know any time within on year of delivery. We will happily replace it without charge, or refund your money - whichever you prefer.

When will my items ship?
Estimated shipping times are displayed in the Review Your Order section of the Checkout page as well as on your Order Confirmation. Shipping dates for individual products are also available on the Shipping section of the product pages.

In response to customer requests for additional online payment options, we are pleased to offer PayPal as a payment method for your AmericanMeadows.com purchases.
With PayPal, you can link your bank account, credit card, and debit card to your PayPal account, then pay however you choose. When you use PayPal, paying for your American Meadows order is quick and easy.
Do you charge taxes?
As per state and municipal law, we are required to charge taxes in Vermont and Colorado.

The people of American Meadows have been selling only the finest, freshest products for almost 30 years. Since we began with a retail facility and national catalog, we are veteran retailers, and have a healthy respect for customer service, privacy and security, whether a sale is made in person or on the internet.
Your Privacy: We hold the utmost respect for your privacy and do not share our information with third parties. When you visit our website, we record the following information to help serve you better: the web address of the site you came from before visiting (most commonly a search engine) and any terms that you may have used to reach our site, such as "wildflower seeds". We also record which pages each visitor views on our site. If you choose to communicate with us via email, we record your email address and if requested, will send you our newsletter and promotional emails. Our emails often include special offers and announcements from time to time.
Online Security: We have been selling online since 1999 and take online security extremely seriously. Once your order is processed, your credit card information is deleted for your protection. Our 100% secure checkout includes Comodo verificatio.

Shipping Basics
In the gardening business, shipping is always a challenge as we work to balance the unpredictable supply of agricultural products with our customers’ locations and desired planting times. Throw in the unpredictability of weather and you can appreciate the challenges.
Spring Delivery: Products that ship in the spring, including most of our perennial offerings and our spring-planted bulbs, are timed to ship to each USDA Hardiness Zone based on historical ground temperatures. Unlike the air, the ground takes significantly longer to warm and many tender plants and bulbs require ground temperatures over 50 degrees to survive transplanting. We monitor those temperatures and time shipments accordingly, starting in the South in late March and working our way north with the season. We continue shipping until inventory runs out, or July - whichever comes first.
Fall Delivery: Fall-planted bulbs and our fall selection of perennials are shipped in reverse order of spring, with northern orders starting to ship in mid-September. We continue shipping until late November (perennials) or early January (bulbs), although we may discourage late-season shipping for colder climates.
Year-Round Delivery: Many of our products, including wildflower or grass seeds and our soil amendments and hard goods, are available to ship year-round. If these products are ordered with seasonally-shipped product, we will use our judgment as to whether to ship them immediately, or when the balance of the order is available.

Terms and Conditions
Credit Cards: Your advance order allows us to make commitments to our perennial nurseries and Dutch bulb growers. As has been traditional in the mail-order bulb business for many years, your credit card is charged when you place your order through our secure servers. This allows us to accurately project inventory, and we reward you with significant discounts on our products. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

What is the Credit Verification Number?
The CVN Number ("Card Verification Number") is a 3 digit security code on VISA®, MasterCard® and Discover® branded credit and debit cards, located on the back of your card. On your American Express® branded credit or debit card, it is a 4 digit numeric code located on the front.
