We want you to do a happy dance when you open your American Meadows package. Upon delivery, if anything arrives in less than satisfactory conditions, we’ll make it better. If a plant or seedling is off to a good start, but doesn’t thrive, we’ll make it better.
Our guarantee covers all plants, bulbs, and seeds for a full year after delivery.
That gives plants time to establish and settle in their new home. Remember, plants have a natural lifecycle and take time to fully mature. If your plants are not blooming, but it’s not their time yet, we may ask that you give your plant the appropriate time to reach maturity. Another one of our fundamental mottos is "Share The Harvest." We assume the best intentions - that our customers followed our care and planting instructions, yet may still have not found success with our plants or seeds. Some conditions beyond our control include: if you chose to grow a plant outside of the recommended hardiness zone, or if the plant was not protected from damage by deer, rabbits, or other animals. These results are not because of a faulty plant or seed.
- When available, we will set you up with a one-time complimentary replacement of the same product.
- If we do not have the same product available, or if that plant was not the right fit for your garden, we will offer a suitable replacement of your choice, a store credit, or a refund.
- Our guarantee does not cover loss due to neglect, severe weather or animals, or for not following our planting recommendations.
- Plus, our team will be happy to help troubleshoot and provide advice to help set you up for success with your next planting.
We only sell top-quality seeds, plants and bulbs, and deliver them to commercial customers with the understanding that they will be planted and cared for per the instructions included. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the products they purchase are suited for the application and conditions. Per industry standards, we will honor any claims or return requests for up to 30 days after delivery. Independent seed laboratory tests are always available upon request. Shipping is non-refundable.
If your order is set to ship immediately, you will not be able to cancel once the order is placed. For orders shipping later in the season, we require a request to cancel to be received one week prior to the start of your ship week. Any notice provided within a week of your ship week will not guarantee cancellation.
Live goods, such as perennials, bare roots, and bulbs cannot be returned. We accept returns of seeds and hard goods within 30 days of receipt. These will need to be returned in sellable condition at the customer’s expense
