Illinois Acreage Abloom with Color
Dear American Meadows:
We've been planting
on our northern Illinois property for over 20 years and this is the first year we've used American Meadows as our seed supplier. We were not disappointed. The results are outstanding! This year we decided to plant our 2-acre pasture with your
and added a few of our individual favorites.
I can't resist driving around the pasture at least twice a day with my camera. The color and variety is wonderful . I've taken hundreds of pictures and I'm including some for you to see. We're looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

. Some people don't consider zinnas wildflowers, but they're one of the flowers (like and a few others) we've included in our 80 individual species since so many of our wildflower gardeners have asked for them.
Larry's success goes to show that garden flowers such as zinnas do just fine in a wild meadow, along with their wild relatives like

. Obviously, that beautiful swallowtail butterfly in the photo at right agrees.
