‘Fragrant Returns’ Daylily blooms again and again with sweetly scented lemon-yellow flowers, adored by butterflies and hummingbirds on blooms from mid-summer to fall. Petals are lightly ruffled along the margin and gracefully curve back. Low-growing ‘Fragrant Returns’ is perfect for containers and the front of borders. Simply remove spent flowers and seed pods after flowering to encourage more blooms. When all the flower buds on a single stem have finished flowering, cut the stem (called a scape) back to the base of the plant to keep plants looking their best. The low stature makes ‘Fragrant Returns’ a great choice for the front of shrub borders and perennial beds. Plant in any well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant.
