Camelot Cream Foxglove delights with blooms in the first year, producing gorgeous spikes of creamy white flowers over a long season. Maroon throats contrast the white trumpets of this heavy bloomer. The best part of this Foxglove is its repeat performance – a second season of breathtaking blooms. A must-have Foxglove for cutting gardens and woodland borders. (Digitalis purpurea)

USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

  • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
  • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).

Plant Information
36-48" tall x 12-18" wide. Camelot Cream Foxglove (Digitalis) is an earlier and heavier blooming than other varieties, takes Digitalis to a whole new level. A vigorous hybrid, ‘Camelot Cream’ produces pillars of blooms all summer long. Hummingbirds and bees are drawn to the showy blossoms, while deer and rabbit avoid browsing the deep green foliage. As a reliable two-season bloomer, be sure to deadhead spent flowers in the first year by cutting back to the base. remove spent blooms by cutting back to the plant base. Allow second-year flowers to go to seed, encouraging plants to self-sow for future generations of Foxglove. Give Foxglove an acidic, well-drained soil and plenty of moisture. Select planting sites carefully as leaves and seeds of Foxglove (Digitalis) produce a powerful chemical used as a heart medicine but are toxic if ingested.
