Mistral is a shorter variety of Echinacea and makes for endless summer bouquets. This variety is also extremely easy to grow and drought-tolerant, preferring as much sun as possible.
This is the famous plains native called Purple Coneflower, but better known today by its botanical name: Echinacea. For years before it was a favorite of the herbal medicine industry, it was always one of the loveliest wildflowers on the plains.
This large pink-to-purple daisy is a mainstay of all well-grown wildflower meadows, and is also a major colormaker in perennial borders. Magnus, this hybrid, is a bit shorter than the native plant, and the flower petals do not droop, as is often the case with the wildflowers. You can easily grow this great native plant from our seed (See our Wildflower Seed Department) but to save a year or more, its really easy to plug in these plants.
