With elegant, fluted blooms and refined foliage, Callas are a favorite for floral arrangements and are easy to grow. If you haven't grown Callas, you may be surprised that these bulbs create a sizable plant. Native to South Africa, Callas like warm weather, full sun, and moist or wet soil – they’re a great option for growing near water features. Plants tolerate partial shade but require a minimum of 4-6 hours of direct sunlight. Callas are perennial in zones 8-10, and in colder regions, they can be grown as annuals, or rhizomes can be dug and stored in a cool, dark place over the winter.
