The Brilliant Canna Collection provides warm, bright flowers that create stunning vertical accents and attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Sophisticated, richly colored flowers and foliage are deer resistant and easy to grow. Create a tropically inspired display in containers, along water features, or in garden beds in full to part sun, and enjoy stunning flowers blooming from spring all the way to first frost!
To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low
temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.
If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will
survive the winter temperatures in your area.
If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack
of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
Our Brilliant Canna Collection gives you a tropical display from spring all the way through to frost, attracting hummingbirds and butterflies all season. Cannasol™ ‘Happy Julia’ Canna Lily is a super-compact canna with deep salmon flowers against spectacular dark foliage (18-22” tall). Cannasol™ ‘Happy Cleo’ Canna Lily is a super-compact canna with a huge tropical impact thanks to clusters of orange flowers with rich golden undertones (18-22” tall). 'Red Dazzler' with lush green foliage and bright red flowers and 'Richard Wallace' with large green leaves and yellow flowers bring the height at up to 5 feet tall. This collection of plants is happiest in full sun, but can handle part shade. Canna Lilies have shallowly rooted rhizomes that spread quickly. Hummingbirds and butterflies love these tropical plants, and so will you! Canna Lilies thrive with regular moisture and rich soil.
